Going on a Cruise!!!

I'm going on a 3 days 2 nights cruise on board Star Cruise Virgo with Ah Ju 姨姨, 肝妈 and Moi Moi 阿姨!!!

Princess Shoes

Mummy bought a pair of Princess Shoes from Crocs for me!!!

I had seen the same pair of shoes a few days back but, being a good girl, I didn't ask Mummy to buy them for me... But Mummy could tell that I really really love them... And Mummy even chose a matching pair of Ariel and Flounder jibbitz for me!!!

Me still wearing my new shoes even thou it's already 11 plus at night...
And I am really sleepy at this point in time...

Mummy could only take a close up photo of the shoes after I had slept...
Coz I refused to take them off once I had put them on!!!

Thank you Mummy for buying... And Daddy for paying!!!

I can't wait to show off my shoes to the rest of the world!!!

Who is Who's 心肝宝贝

Now that my 妹妹 will be coming into the world soon, I have decided to minimize any miscommunication between us by specifying exactly which one of us sisters is who's 心肝宝贝...

For starters, 妹妹 will be my 心肝宝贝 while I will also be her 心肝宝贝...

妹妹 will also be 婆婆, 阿公, 肝妈 and Moi Moi 阿姨's 心肝宝贝... While I will be Mummy, Daddy and Ah Ju 姨姨's 心肝宝贝...

See... 妹妹 should be very happy with my arrangement since she will have more people to 疼 her than me!!!

I was watching the cartoon "Cars" on TV... When it suddenly dawned on me that the cars do not have any hands...

So Daddy, how do they brush their teeth???

Cocoon and Butterfly

Those who know me will remember that I had been suffering from constipation for the longest time... But in recent months, my problem is almost all gone...

Besides the fact that the Adults have been drowning me with plenty of fruits and water, I've finally learned that it is easier to poot poot sitting down on the toilet bowl then to poot poot standing up and squeezing my butt checks together... DUH...

In the earlier months, the Adults were always very interested in my poot poot movements, so much that I started naming my poot poot according to their shapes and sizes...

Their shapes typically ranges from, "Rock", "Mountain", "Snake", "Worm" etc... While their sizes typically ranges from, "Daddy", "Mummy" and "Baby"..

Just a couple of week ago, I even told the Adults that I had poot poot a "Mummy cocoon" that beacame a butterfly and flew away!!!

1st Sunrise

Today I've witnessed my 1st ever sunrise.

It was a really beautiful sight.

I can read

I like to read a lot... A lot a lot... Just like my Daddy... Mummy reckons that I can read about 100 words or so by myself...

And currently, I have been trying to break up the longer words into different syllabus... For example I would break up the word "cartons" to "car" + "tons" and viola... I would be able to pronounce "cartons" as a whole...

The Adults think that it is either genetics (from Daddy of course) or the teachers at school that are really doing a heck of a good job to teach me reading at such a young age...

Mummy's really proud of my achievement... But think she's running low on new books for me to read since on average, I read about 3-4 books a day at home... And that's not including the books that I get to read in school and at my nanny's place...

So Daddy, please buy more books for me to read!!!

It started out as a good day

Yesterday started out as a good day... Mummy brought me to Swensen's for lunch where I had spaghetti, french fries and a chocolate Mr Smile ice cream all to myself...

And after a hearty lunch, Ah Gong and I even got to color a princess picture...


And while waiting for the color to dry... That was when everything started going down hill...

First, it just started as a tiny stomach ache... Then it got worst and worst till I puked out all my wonderful lunch... Right in the middle of the shopping center!!!

Luckily for the Adults, there were a couple of cleaners just around the vicinity and they responded quickly and without any grumble... So my ever thankful Ah Gong gave them a little token of appreciation each...

Thank you aunties!!!

November

I, Princess Megan Mermaid Jie Jie, declare that the whole month of November shall belong to me and only me... Nobody shall be entitled to celebrate his/her birthday in the month of November... And that also applies to my Daddy...

From now on, my Daddy's birthday shall be in the month of April... Same as my Mei Mei... ;p

Bear and Chicken go Camping

This morning, Mummy, Da Yi, Emma, Kayla and I went to DBS Arts Centre at Robertson Quay to watch "Bear and Chicken go Camping"...

In a nut shell, it was the first time that best of friends, Chicken and Bear, went on a camping trip in the Great Outdoors... Throughout the night, they make lots of amazing discoveries about the world around us...

But why did Chicken said that the moon is made of cheese??? The moon is not made of cheese... You can't eat the moon cheese... Coz it's a big rock!!!

Overall I enjoyed the show very much... I've even asked Mummy to bring me back when they are stagging another show!!! :)

Daddy brought me to Botanic Gardens for a picnic with Ye Ye and Nai Nai...

The weather was great for picnic and fish feeding... But after a while, we ran out of bread to feed the fish... So I decided to see if the fishes will eat potato chips instead...

年年有鱼

We visited a fish farm at Sungei Tengah where they kept so many different types of fishes... There were puffer fish, goldfish, orange fish, blue fish, stripy fish, black fish, sleeping fish, hungry fish... All types of fishes!!!

Reunion Dinner at Ye Ye's Home

During Lunar New Year, besides having the opportunity to meet up with friends and relatives... And who can forget the collection of Ang Baos...There is always a reason to feast and gorge on food... Tons of food coz for the Chinese, having excess leftover food is a sign of plentiful year...

Ye Ye and Nai Nai prepared tons of food for our reunion dinner at their home... And by the time we were stuffed up to our throats, there were still plenty of food on the table... This must really be a plentiful Cow Year!!!

牛年初一

It is a tradition that we have our 年初一 lunch at Ah Kheng Gim Ma's place... And this year is no exception... Especially since Gim Ma's cooking is really delicious...

This year, besides the traditional fare such as the "Heng Hua" noodles aka New Year noodles, shark's fin soup, braised duck etc, Gim Ma also cooked a white promfet with some homemade dried prawn and sambal paste... And it was so delicious that between Daddy and Uncle Dennis, they finished almost 80% of the fish!!!

Today was such a packed day for me... Early in the morning, I went to the airport to send Por Por and Ah Gong off... They are going on a 5 days 4 nights trip to Vietnam for LNY... And I am already starting to miss them... :(
