Xmas Tree

Today is a happy day for me... Coz Mummy and Ah Gong brought me to Far East Flora at Thomas Road to buy our Xmas Tree!!!

Every year, Mummy prefers to buy a real Xmas Tree coz she really likes the refreshing fragrance of a "live" tree... But I think I am too young to appreciate the difference between a "live" and plastic tree...

This year, Mummy left the inspection and choosing of the "live" Xmas Tree to me... But I wasn't very fussy... I just chose a 7/8 ft tall Noble Fir Tree... Bet that nobody realized that it was taller than our previous tree... So much taller that Mummy had to buy a new base as our existing one is too small for this tree!!!

We were also pleasantly surprised that Far East Flora promised to delivery our tree to us by this evening...

When I reached home, I was so excited that I didn't take my afternoon nap... So you can imagine how cranky and hyper-active I was by the time the Xmas Tree was delivered to my house...

And I really had a great time putting up all the Xmas decorations with Ah Gong... Ok, I admit that it was more of me supervising and Ah Gong doing the work... But did it really matter?

The end product was fabulous!!!

Save Energy!!!

I've being going around doing my part for Mother Nature by minimizing energy wastage...

For example, I would walk around my house to ensure that all the lights are off if there is nobody in the room or if they were sleeping...

One night, while lying on Mummy's bed in the dark, I noticed that there were some lights on the ceiling... So I asked Mummy where were the lights coming from... Mummy replied that the lights were from outside as our curtains were not closed...

So I told Mummy that we must close the curtains to save energy!!!

Today is Ye Ye's 69th birthday... So Auntie Sarah organized a small lunch celebration at the Whole Earth Vegetarian Restaurant at Geylang...

Mummy brought me to Baby Dyan's 1st Birthday Party... The party was held at Auntie Pei Ping's house and boy were there lots of little kids my age there..

So many that when the birthday cake was placed on the table, all that could be heard from the many parents were different versions of, "Don't touch the cake!!!"

I am only pointing at the cake... I did not touch it...

My Paradise

Remember the play house and slide that Mummy rented for my birthday party???

They are now in the living room as their rental period isn't up yet... And for the past few days, I've been growing very close to them... In fact, now I call the play house, my house...

Ah Gong even helped me to put a small mattress and a few cushions inside my house so that it is more comfy for me...

I also have my own security guard to look after my house... My security guard is the Hello Kitty balloon that Da Yi bought for me... And her name is "In-Lee"...

Orchid 2 Orientation

Over the weekend, I attended the School's orientation for my 2009 Nursery 1 Class... My new class would be Orchid 2 and my teachers are Mrs Yoges and Peng Lao Shi...

And the class size has been increased from 15 (in PN) to 24 (in N1)...

Luckily for me, I know Peng Lao Shi as she used to be teaching the in Pre-Nursery Class next to mine... At least I won't feel so lost!!!

Last Day in Tulip 2

My last day in Tulip 2 was spend celebrating Christmas...

Though most of my friends would be going to separate class come 2009, and my teachers would not be teaching me in 2009, I'm sure that we would still meet up with each other in school...

Today is the last day of school for 2008... It also means that I've finally graduated from Pre-Nursery!!!

"Teng Tiao"

There is a "teng tiao" hanging at Ah Yi's place... And it is supposed to act as a constant reminder for me not to do naughty things...

This "teng tiao" has a long history... It has been around as long as Jackson Kor Kor has been around... And we are talking about 20+ years...

So one day, I told Ah Yi that the "teng tiao" is already 坏了... Should throw it away... And Ah Yi should not buy another "teng tiao" as it is a waste of money!!!

But why didn't Ah Yi take my advise??? :(

Lucky Charm

After attending my Birthday Party on Sunday, Uncle Kai Meng had an inspiration on a set of numbers... 3, 8, 12, 24, 30 and 40...

How he derived at the numbers are explained below:

3 - My age
8 - No. of little girls at my birthday party
12- Lunar date of 9 Nov
24 - 3x8
30 and 40 - Estimated no. of people who attended my party

And guess what? The winning nos. on Monday's S$3 million Toto results were 3, 8, 12, 14, 36, 40 and additional no 24!!!

Wow... Uncle Kai Meng struck 4+1 nos... Winning a small fortune of S$1000+...

See... It's good to have a little Lucky Charm like me around!!!

Meet the Marymount Kindergarten's S.H.E!!!

Mummy learned an interesting fact about me during this afternoon's teachers-parents conference... Apparently I, together with my classmates Yu Xuan and Alyssa, are the bona fide Marymount Kindergarten's S.H.E pop group!!!

For those who are not into Chinese Pop Music, S.H.E is a 3 member Taiwanese girl pop music group... Pretty much like the 3 of us...

Some days, Lin Lao Shi would bring us to the different classes to "perform" for our school mates... And when the 3 of us perform together, I don't get stage fright...

Hmm... Maybe after 15 years, you might see us take part at the Singapore Superstar Competition!!!

Finally I am officially 3 years old... Yup... I can no longer gain free access to most of the local attraction sites...

To celebrate my coming of age, the Adults organized a birthday party at my home... Mummy even rented a slide and a playhouse for me...

As all my little cousins gathered around and sang a Happy Birthday song to me, naughty Kayla blew out my candles even before the song was over... So Mummy had to relight the candles again...

Por Por and Ah Gong bought a new booster seat for me... As some parts of the seat came with light colors, Por Por decided to let it "wear" my pink socks to prevent it from getting dirty...

Celebrating my birthday in School

This morning was one of the rare times where the Adults do not need to wake me up... If fact I woke up with a happy face and the 1st thing that I did was to run to Mummy's room to wake her up...

Why?

Because this is the day that I'll be celebrating my 3rd birthday at my School!!! :D

It was really a wonderful day as I had a little McDonald's birthday party and a lovely "Hello Kitty" birthday cake to share with my friends...
