Career 101 - Picasso Chan in the Making

Step 1: Stick on a fake goatee

Step 2: Randomly dab some paint onto the paper.
Remember to use a mixture of colors for the added effect.

Step 3: It doesn't hurt to enjoy the painting process.

Step 4: Give your Masterpiece a name.

(In my case, I call my Masterpiece "My Family". If you look closely, you might just be able to see mummy, daddy and me!)

Visiting Daddy at Doha

The Corniche
One of the 1st place Daddy brought us to was to the Corniche. We even had a chance to take a ride on the traditional dhow along Doha's bay.

After that one time, Por Por and Mummy went there so many times to buy cheap flower crabs and fish. Think we had crab every alternate days over here! Must remember to exercise more by running around Daddy's apartment!

Makeshift fish market at the Corniche

See! Por Por smiling so broadly at the thought of eating more flower crabs!

Desert Safari
The ride was really bumpy and exciting! It was like riding in a roller coaster (I think. One more heart stopping ride to pester my parents to let me try before I turn 3!) There were moments that the driver (Thanks goodness he was so professional!) drove the 4-wheel car up the steep sand dunes, skirt edges of sheer drop-offs and slide sideways down seemingly vertical mountains of sand.

Por Por relieved to be standing on sand.

Chan family photo!

Doing a little stretch with Daddy on the soft fine sand.

Watching the sunset with Por Por.

Sunrise at our campsite next to Khor El Deid: Qatar's Inland Sea.

Having a morning dip with Daddy in the Inland Sea. Brrrr... It's so cold!

Souq Waqif
This traditional market is another firm favorite with Por Por and Mummy. I only liked the sweet shop uncle who, without fail, always gives me chocolates every time Por Por goes in to buy more sweets for souvenir. Think Por Por went at least 4 times!!!

The Souq at daytime.

AAHHH!!! The pigeons are attacking me!!!

Posing in my favorite sweet shop. Now where's my chocolate?

Yummy... Iraqi feast...

Singapore "Ba Zhan"!!!

Eww... Mummy happily eating camel meat at the Moroccan Restaurant.

Working for my next meal

Daddy's helping to build the new airport in Doha. So I thought of helping him out.

Hmm... What is 1+1 equal to?

Holding onto my hardhat and scratching my bottom during presentation. So professional!

Hi to all who are reading my blog!

This is the 1st time that Mummy and Daddy are attempting to do something so "high tech". So please pardon them if they don't seem to be making sense once in a while.

Enjoy reading!
